I want to talk about my daily life in Cambodia. Every morning I wake up at 6 o’clock. It’s not only me that wakes up at this time,
but all the people in the country too, because we need to go to work or
school. Every morning there is always a
traffic jam because a lot of people are driving to work or school. In Cambodia, people use two languages,
which are English and Khmer. So every
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I go to study English at ACE. I love that school very much. I know English because of ACE school. I usually go and buy some drinks with my
friends. I love them. I love their kindness and they’re so friendly
to me. When I go back home, I need to
help my mom do some housework. At 1 o’clock
in the afternoon, I need to go to study Khmer.
I go back home at 5 o’clock in the evening, but sometimes the Khmer
teacher does not come to teach us, so then I go back home at 4 or 4:30 in the
evenings. I take a shower and eat dinner
with my family. Cambodia people
usually go to bed at 9 or 10 o’clock, but for me it’s different. I go to bed at 11 or 12 o’clock, because I
spend my time studying and doing homework.
I
love my life in Cambodia, because
Cambodia
people are kind and friendly. Our
country is not too big, but in Cambodia
there are a lot of beautiful places. In
the future, I want to travel around the world, because I want to know what is
different between my country and other countries. Thank you for spending your time to read my
writing about Cambodia.

In
another country, maybe school starts at 8:00 AM. But in Cambodia, school starts at 7:00 AM
so that I need to wake up at 6:00 or 5:30
AM when I study at Khmer school. But if
I study English, then I will wake up at 7:00 AM because ACE starts at 9:45
AM. I often eat breakfast before I go to
school. I usually eat noodles for
breakfast. I study for 8 hours a day, so
I don’t have time to go home in the afternoon.
I eat lunch at my Khmer school. I
have a group of friends who stay at school so we take food, soup, pig meat, cow
meat, chicken meat, or some of the Khmer food. We always share the food or rice. And we have 1 hour to read books, or play
something. Next, from 12:00 to 5:00 PM
we study, but we have 4 breaks during this time. Before starting the class, we have to clean
the classroom. I study 6 days a
week. After class I always go home at
5:00 PM. When I go home, the three
things I always do are play games, watch TV, and play sports. At 7:00 PM, my family has dinner. Sometimes we order pizza from outsides, or
sometimes we go to a restaurant to have dinner.
From 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM I do homework or study. Of course I go to sleep late because I like
to watch movies at night. Sometimes I go
to bed at 10:30, 11:30, or 12:00. This is my life in Cambodia.

Hello
everyone. Today I want to describe my
typical day. I usually get up at 6 o’clock. I put away my bed and have a shower. I put on my clothes. At 6:30 I have breakfast: rice and
chicken. When I have eaten, I prepare my
bag. I usually go to school at
9:30. My school is not small and not big
but it has a lot of students who study at this school and it has a lot of
teachers that work at this school. There
is a staff room on the 2nd floor. My
school has a lot of rooms. I study in
room 2.1 at ACE. I have a lot of
friends. I always play with my friends
who sit near. It is very fun. Outside the school, there are restaurants and
banks that are near ACE. I usually leave
school at 11:15, and then I go to study Khmer.
Now I usually study Khmer at 1 o’clock, but in the past I used to study
at 11:30. At Khmer school, I also have a
lot of friends. There are restaurants at
my Khmer school. When it is break time,
I always play hide and seek. I’m very
tired but I am happy. There are three
break times in my Khmer school. I
usually go home at 5 o’clock in the evening.
At home I change my clothes and prepare my school clothes. After that I
play games on my computers, which makes me happy. At 7 o’clock at night, I watch TV and do my
homework. I usually eat dinner at 8 o’clock
at night. Sometimes I eat rice with
chicken, sometimes I eat rice with pork, and sometimes I eat rice with
soup. I help my parents to clean the
table, wash the dishes, clean the floor, and wash my clothes. Sometimes my mother goes outside the house
and talks with my neighbor. They have a
lot of stories. I usually go to bed at
10 o’clock, but from 9 o’clock I watch TV and play games. Sometimes I call my friends. Sometimes I talk about games, movies, and
sometimes I talk about studying at Khmer
School and English
school.
On
Saturdays and Sundays I usually get up at 9 o’clock in the morning, and then
have a shower, brush my teeth, and put on my clothes. Then I eat breakfast. When I have eaten breakfast already, I go the
market with my mother and buy some meat, fruits, vegetables, and clothes. I come back home. My mom cooks the food. At 12 o’clock, I eat lunch. At 4 o’clock I go to the cinema with my
brother and watch movies with my brother, and then come back home. On Saturdays and Sundays I usually go to bed
at 11 o’clock because I stay up watching a movie.

Hello.
I’m 15 years old. Today I want
you to know about life for Cambodian people. I live in Cambodia. Every day I always get up at 6:00 or
6:30. I take a shower and brush my
teeth, and then after that I get dressed and tidy my room. I leave home at 7 o’clock. I have no time to eat breakfast at home so I
eat my breakfast at school. My breakfast
is rice and chicken, rice and pork, a sandwich, or some days I only drink
coca-cola for breakfast. I have to study
Khmer language from 7 o’clock until 11 o’clock, and I also have to study part
time from 11 o’clock until 12 o’clock.
We also have a break time at school.
During break time I go to the market, or stay in class, listen to music,
ask my teacher some questions, talk with my friends, or read a book. I never leave school when I still have to study. My school doesn’t look like the perfect
school. It is not small, but it isn’t
big either. But it is a famous Khmer
school in Cambodia. The school is called Chaktomuk. There might be 1,000 students who study
there, and 500 teachers to teach them. All
the student in the school can play when the school has some party. Chaktomuk school is from grade 1 to grade
9. After we finish grade 8, we have to
continue studying at Shisowat school.
Four our school uniforms, girls wear white shirts and blue skirts, but
boys must wear long blue or black trousers.
Well,
now let’s go back to describe what my life is like. When I finish all my work at school, I go
back home. I eat lunch that my
grandmother makes for me. She is 80
years old, but she can cook and also make lunch for us, because my mom has no
time to make it for us. After lunch I
watch TV for 2 or 3 hours, then I do my Khmer school homework. I finish it quickly, then I take a shower,
get dressed, and prepare to study part time.
My part time study is from 5 to 7 o’clock. We all have fun all the time when we study
part time. I go home at 7:15, take a
shower, eat dinner and watch TV from 8 to 9 o’clock. Then I read a book for a few minutes, and
prepare my bag for school tomorrow. Next
I play games and use the Internet until 10 or 11 o’clock. I must go to sleep at 11:30 or 12 o’clock. If I don’t get to sleep by then, I’ll be late
for school tomorrow. This is how my life
looks like in Cambodia. Thank you for reading my writing. I hope you understand my life.
